Pusateri's has re-opened but not completely set up yet. The renovated interior is nice and the looks like the hot food counter may be expanded.

They seem to be doing ok from what I can see. Their strawberry and mango mousse cakes are quite nice.

It would appear Smith has officially closed, and the shawarma place next to Grapefruit is closed due to back rent. Also, I think that Wellesley Convenience may have new ownership as they're back to 24 hours and I don't see the regular people behind the counter anymore.

Saw workers clearing out North of Brooklyn; wonder if it's closing or renovating.

Hero Burger has a sign up saying they're doing renos but that they'll be back.

There's getting to be a lot of empty storefronts along the street now. I don't know if Hero Burger would be coming back either; there doesn't seem to be any work being done inside to repair whatever damage happened.

Wellesley Convenience is returning though. They have a banner up and it looked like they're prepping the inside.

The O'Grady's refresh is done and it's open for business again. I walked by and had a quick look through the windows; didn't look like anything too major but it looks nice.

That just pretty much says it all doesn't it. I'll just leave this here for the lessers to handle as doing anything else would indicate that I am anything but perfect.

Having unread forums as grey and read forums as blue seems counter-intuitive but maybe it's just me.

It looks like they may be updating the fronts of the empty storefronts in the Pizza Pizza building; the Wellesley Convenience space has a new storefront and the space next to it looks like it might be getting the same treatment as well. And it looks like they're fixing the verandas of the flats...

I've seen Ryan Lester's team canvassing the most. There was a march for Khuram Aftab on Saturday. And I saw Smitherman campaigning on the streets a few weeks ago. But other than that, despite the large number of candidates, all I've got are a few campaign flyers at my door.

The Ho's next to the Pizza Pizza is now a campaign headquarters for someone running for councillor.

Smitherman is running for council as an independent. I ran into him while he canvassing in Cabbagetown on the long weekend.

Someone needs to keep the other kids from bullying him.
