Yeah, the precedence is evident across the street from this site, with Wendy's/Tim's shared building directly under the hydro lines seems to operate just fine. :)

TBH.... it reminds me of a moustache of a certain individual. Very unfortunate set up, completely unnecessary!

There is something fundamentally wrong with the City's cooperation with utilities (like Hydro) to be able to re-do the entire street, yet still leave the overhead wire mess shown on pics above.

OK, I totally agree that the podium work is excellent.. but I hope I am not the only one to see the condo/top section being subpar, disjointed and generally unattractive?! At least from available viz..

I am sure there will be a lot of buyers desiring the little thing like a mall literarily forming a podium of their own condo bldg :)

hmm.. Park Avenue, NYC Champs Elysees, Paris Avenida 9 Julio, Buenos.. just to name a few.. It is not how many traffic lanes that matters, it is what the pedestrian environment along them can add to street life and overall experience..
