Yeah, the precedence is evident across the street from this site, with Wendy's/Tim's shared building directly under the hydro lines seems to operate just fine. :)
There is something fundamentally wrong with the City's cooperation with utilities (like Hydro) to be able to re-do the entire street, yet still leave the overhead wire mess shown on pics above.
Anybody knows why is this little thing on the west side of podium left there? What is so precious to save? Was it just one odd duck not willing to sell?
OK, I totally agree that the podium work is excellent.. but I hope I am not the only one to see the condo/top section being subpar, disjointed and generally unattractive?!

Typically it denotes original issue date for file. The latest revision numbers (Rev. Date) are usually located above.. there are two visible, although hard to read at this res.. :)

It is not how many traffic lanes that matters, it is what the pedestrian environment along them can add to street life and overall experience..
