How visible are the boundaries between the former Metro municipalities today?

I get a lot of nods on the street when I wear my "Kid From Scarborough" tee. I also got the Deltatron tee, but the cut (fit) is terrible and the ink on the back makes the shirt way too heavy. I would have returned but lost the receipt.

The AIC website still has supporting documentation for the taller building. https://www.toronto.ca/city-government/planning-development/application-details/?id=4855702&pid=230049&title=1-BLOOR-ST-W Unfortunately the City replaced all the architectural plans with only 3 sheets (which are still...

The rezoning applications were approved in June 2021. There were some additional minor variances approved in May 2024 to allow the parking spaces to be enclosed in private garages. Link to AIC

Is this just temporary? I thought they had plans to relocate back to their current location once that site was redeveloped.

I love how they included The Beaverton. And that there are people that actually trust a satirical news outlet as a reliable source.

    Downtown Markham

"Downtown Markham" is just Remington's marketing name for their development. It's no different than "CityPlace" or "Parkside Village"

Perhaps. Again, it was one time so perhaps it was changed. I do remember waiting to right from commissioners to Cherry thinking the no right on red was infuriating.

I think they poured the slab for 64. The blue forms are almost 3 floors tall, so this is what I get starting at the first mechanical level (of the third set).

UT's database has One Bloor East with a height of 257.24 metres. The SPA drawings for The One (with the height increase) indicate this is between levels 75 and 76. The drawings I have were from Dec. 2020, so maybe it's changed on a resubmission - I haven't checked. (source, City of Toronto AIC).

I am not surprised to see that long line of vehicles on Cherry Based on my own limited anecdotal experience when driving along the new Cherry Street. I found the green cycle to very short for Cherry St traffic vs. Commissioners St. Coupled with advanced pedestrian signal, no more than 10...

That will be when they pour the slab for level 76 (or technically, when the columns or core for level 75 are poured) so about 12 weeks to go.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

And those days when there is too much snow, the roads are in such a bad shape that cars and surface transit are no better until sufficient snow clearing has been done.

Probably adds like 15 metres (50 ft). Straight span is 100m. The added distance is less than crossing most of the Villiers Island ROWs. Still a lot shorter than walking via Cherry St.

If opening day is between December and March, watch a massive snowstorm hit the City the night before and delay the opening a few more days.
