It looks a lot better than the new buildings with red brick in the area like Quad Lofts. The dull new red brick looks terrible compared to the old factories (like the building connected?) It looks like trying to match a white shirt with ivory pants.

Outside Design Very cool design. Love the colour and it looks like it will look great from the north side especially. Unfortunately it looks like they dropped the ball on a lot of the layouts which would be about 100% more important to me if I were buying in the building.

I live nearby and we received a memo describing Tridel's plans for the building. The illustration looks almost exactly the same as the aloft hotel, but with balconies on the east side of the building.

The area is getting dense with tall buildings already, a small building will look better. I never thought I'd hear someone complain that there's not enough high rises downtown.

I think "most" is a bit of a stretch. Admittedly, we do live in a voyeuristic society but considering that real estate value and popularity in Toronto has historically ALWAYS increased based on a real view as opposed to facing only another building. I don't think you'll ever hear a condo owner...

Green and magenta... Yikes, call me old fashioned but I prefer clean simple colours. Green and Magenta buildings would look very tacky - especially after a few years with a bit of wear and tear.
