Shoppers, Rexall , a bubble tea shop, or Starbucks- take your pick

thanks for the post!... Farm Boy?!.. wow..that is great.. desperately needed around here..-- hope it is full large scale grocery - and not a condensed "urban" store model. they have fantastic fresh foods- and are sooo reasonably priced.. any idea when this is supposed to open..?

I will probably get a lot of hate around here-- but I checked out on Friday both the Smart House location of Miniso- as well as the PATH location by my work.. - there is a soft opening... was sooo not impressed.. is it just me?- I mean all this hype.. is soooo overrated.. lots of basic items-...

I remember Mmmuffins.. were everywhere in my teen years..- I work around Scotia Plaza- and there is a Tim Hortons right beside this spot.. I always go to Mmmuffins ,- their green tea is the real stuff- much better than Timmy's- and same goes for their beverages..and their muffins are sooo...

uhh.. I am soo sick of Lulemon- and yoga/ athletic type clothing stores- they are everywhere... and taking over what should be real clothes stores.. you go to majority of clothing stores- and there is a huge section just for sportswear aaaand they all look alike- and are taking space- instead...

still think it is ridiculous that this store is now part of Queen St. - it is such a waste of prime real estate, and not in tune with urban life, and is already sticking out like a sore thumb. bad enough it was on King- don't know why the could have just kept it there- I am sure rent is much...

yes... I totally agree with you on that ..some Sears stores looked messy and didn't have the proper upkeep - and you had to rummage through items they really let themselves go on that one- that is for sure... but prices were reasonable, and quality wise- you can wash and wear them for a long...

although, we folks have to resort to looking elsewhere ..it is a pain....and can't find what is needed.. Sears always had the goods, and is severely missed...- the quality, pricing...and customer service was top... whatever needed fixing with their appliances..there were no issues getting top...

that is disappointing... there are a million bubble tea shops around this area.....and Miniso isn't all that... this is prime real estate.. something better should have been there for retail...

soo agree.... still can't believe this store is moving in.. absolutely no need for it- what a waste of real estate... looks uninspiring- the parking lot- had more street cred

or a Shoppers Drug Mart.. or a Starbucks- and some hipster healthy vegan take out lunch shop.. that is scattering our city... agree- would make a great event space...

nope... cause Air Canada- had the Maple Leaf logo- it was fitting- on soo many levels... it represented Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment- Maple Leafs - Maple Leaf square etc... Air Canada Centre- took flight...pun intended.... it felt patriotic- and was the name from the get go-----far...

well they got to plaster their "naming rights' everywhere - in every sightline possible... total overload...and in your face tackiness...

actually I am a musician, and hardcore concert goer- have been to hundreds of shows there- am a huge music fan... it just says overkill everywhere.. too in your face-- and the pictures that were just posted above of how ACC looks- just verifies my thoughts-- I mean they are obviously getting...

where's the guitar?/.. they took it down...

Shoppers is just Shoppers- but it will stand out- physically that is.. like a sore thumb... still cannot wrap my head around it.. couldn't something livelier be there- that would have enhanced entertainment.. instead of another Shoppers

there are only 2 other locations I am aware of- 280 Spadina Ave, Dragon City- Spadina Dundas 351 Bremner Blvd across from Skydome ( ya.. I still call it that and won't change it )
