    Mississauga Toronto | M3 at M City | 260.29m | 77s | Rogers Real Estate | Arcadis

I’ve walked it and driven it. It feels like a massive waste. When I lived in Toronto it felt like if there was a fire you could in theory jump from one building to the next. Obviously that’s not true but it felt like you could ask the next building to borrow some milk and with an outstretched...

    Mississauga Toronto | M3 at M City | 260.29m | 77s | Rogers Real Estate | Arcadis

The gap in space between m1/m2 and m3 looks and feels huge. I don’t understand that decision at all. Especially since M4 seems to be right up to m3. It’s as confusing as their new road system.

“Situation” makes it sound negative. Who doesn’t love a train horn?!!!

    Zoning Reform Ideas

A serious question but isn’t the retail we currently have hard to fill because of more competition from online shopping, work from home, and or landlords refusing to rent to anyone who isn’t a high end store. I haven’t been too many places since Covid but downtown ottawa is dead not only...

    Zoning Reform Ideas

Well cannabis stores are half the cities shops. So I don’t know what is going to go in there. Dundas west in the junction which was supposedly gentrifying got rid of so many coffee shops during Covid and replaced them with weed stores. Now no one needs the majority of the stores on a street to...

    Zoning Reform Ideas

I think lots of people want stores in walking distance to their houses. But the fear is it will be immediately next door and that’s where people draw their line. But consultation is such a pathetic excuse for not making a decision either way. It’s like my friend who loves being a family dr...

I missed this message and the subsequent meetings. How’s the sabotaging going?

People can complain why do people drive instead of walk or take public transit. Part of it is on the planning department. If transit costs so much we can’t really build it then we should be only approving construction near existing transit and ideally where people can walk.

There’s triangle shaped bed rooms. What did we expect?

    Mississauga Toronto | Oro at Edge Towers | ?m | 50s | Solmar | Rosario Varacalli

Why would the mechanical floor lights be left on all night every night? Actually that might make sense more than someone leaving the lights on to go to bed. But that’s one dumb way to burn condo fees.

    Mississauga Toronto | Oro at Edge Towers | ?m | 50s | Solmar | Rosario Varacalli

Do you know if the second building of edge towers has a two floor penthouse? The lights are always on the top two floors facing North. I’m curious.

    Mississauga Toronto | The Southlands | ?m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | a—A

I live in the suburbs in a sfh near this development and walk to get my coffee, restaurants, shopping, church, my kids school. I don’t drive everywhere and don’t find it boring. Technically I could walk for groceries but I do prefer to drive for that. I also choose to live here when technically...

    Mississauga Toronto | The Southlands | ?m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | a—A

Yeah they haven’t been changed. My parents from ottawa complain about the lights all the time in Mississauga. Maybe I got used to them. They did put that weighing strip down on Enfield. Maybe the real problem is one car can trigger it. In order for Kariya to move better I think that’s a low...

    Mississauga Toronto | The Southlands | ?m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | a—A

My wife thought on the first day the lights were super short for Enfield. The complete reverse of what you and I experienced. So maybe they are trying to figure this out. Yes I can go through elm school to get to central parkway. But most people won’t do that. Kariya getting to central parkway...

    Mississauga Toronto | The Southlands | ?m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | a—A

Yeah that was my experience too. I’m guessing they won’t stay this way and they will be altered a bit. I’m never going to understand why kariya didn’t make it all the way to central parkway when they were building the school. Seems like a missed opportunity.

    Mississauga Toronto | 2482 Confederation Parkway | 9.66m | 3s | 2629604 Ontario Ltd

I hate this development. I wish the city would have bought out these old homes and widened Confederation to match the rest of the street. Now this development makes that impossible.

Hurontario Zoning Plan For The LRT and Dundas BRT

You guys don’t have a problem with basically 15 floors max at port credit that has all day go train service with the exception of a few towers. Meanwhile they’re proposing 50 at cooksville without all day go train service and 70s at MCC with zero go train service? That’s an interesting perspective.

Hurontario Zoning Plan For The LRT and Dundas BRT

I mean why would we have significant density at the only all day go station in Mississauga? But I believe when I questioned tie a year or so ago I was told not everywhere needs to be Hong Kong. Once again this is why port credit could never have been the city centre. There’s just too many nimbys.

Hurontario Zoning Plan For The LRT and Dundas BRT

I think based on previous conversations drum wants to see the whole city getting denser not just the city centre and these couple transit routes. I think one of the concerns is if the rest of the city doesn’t get denser then it will always be a challenge to run transit routes. My take is if...
