Those must be the residents of Ontario (but not Toronto) who forced Amalgamation on the City and the suburbs. Those attitudes led directly to Rob Ford and his unholy nation. We are paying the price, many times over. Ontario has always resented the City of Toronto.

It is possible that Ford's hospital stay was due to a difficult detox (sometimes detox can be life threatening) that Greenestone does in Toronto prior to sending clients to Muskoka. However, it seems hard to believe that this "not small mass" would not have been discovered at that time...

Agreed. There has been plenty of foreshadowing of the Doug takes over from incapacitated Rob all along. This whole thing reeks. Doesn't matter if the "mass" is benign or malignant, Rob's health crisis has been deliberately used for political gain.
