    Edmonton Nightlife (past and present)

Part of the problem that psychologists and sociologists seem to agree on is that the smart-phone gen is ill equipped to socialize in public; they've substituted the real experience of meeting people by chance with internet dating, texting and finding their "joy" in online games and challenges...

Here's a guy who saw his major career projects start later in life; he'll certainly be missed.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

I am still puzzling over why an airport connection has to be to downtown vis a vis a direct run.

    Edmonton | Army & Navy Redevelopment | ?m | 6s | Edgar

^ This will not be an easy remake no matter the fix. These guys are taking the right approach, however, by looking for use occupants prior to carving up the space. That effort might take some time.

    New Stadium / Arena?

^ Yes it was me being coy and I shall remain holding that position ("blurting" has gotten me a lot of criticism in the past; letting dead cats out of the bag that is). Edmonton could take over the V'couver Whitecaps franchise and change the name almost as slightly as Eskimos to Elks -- call them...

    Edmonton | Winspear Centre Completion Project | 29.87m | 4s | Winspear Centre | Andrew Bromberg

Since they still have "construction doors" for entry it says to me that they still have some rough construction elements to complete inside

124 Street BIA / Westmount General Discussion

I presumed so... my comment was not aimed at yours. Some of the best creative architecture in my opinion comes from working with existing structures even if they are in a substandard state of repair.

    Federal Politics

According to some sources there are deep fissures in MAGA and rumors that a large number of Republicans are about to quit the House of Representatives (6 confirmed so far). Trump & Co. are in deep doo-doo no matter how we slice it. I think Trump's best option in the near term is to check...

    Capital Line LRT

^ probably insufficient allowance for freeze-thaw expansion/contraction for the sealed units -- someone probably built these units to spec without the proper allowances and when the cold came... c-r-a-a-a-ck. They may have realized it at the time of installation, but since they were already...

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

This is significant news for Edmonton boosting the importance of Edmonton and YEG as a focal point, reinforcing its northern command. I would expect this to grow year over year in a significant way -- as an "Airforce Brat" I have some sense and background knowledge about growth potential here.
