It’s just really… not good. We have nicer stuff going on in the suburbs. There should be a standard for buildings in the inner city, and this doesn’t meet the standard by any measure. The bottom two floors are cute… 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’d be down for a summer traffic closure of 17th between 4th and 8th. Think it would be pretty cool, honestly. That section is far and away the busiest/most walkable anyways. Even just summer weekends (beginning of May to end of September) would be great, but I don’t think it should be just...

I honestly agree. They should have gone with Elms in the redo of 17th as well. Hopefully they do it for the redo of 8th Street and Stephen Ave. Lots in Olympic Plaza too! Oh and the 17th Extension into Stampede Park! Oh oh and…!

Elms are so much nicer though. I hope they do that. It’ll obviously take the seedlings years to mature to that point, but it would be great to have them in the next round of replanting, wherever that may be in the inner city.
