I don’t think the city really cares if the finish product is eye candy or not. Their dollars are going to get empty buildings full again. Provide more housing downtown (plus low cost housing) and increasing the tax base.

Seems Truman times their projects nicely (crew wise). The time Frontier is done their last floor, this pit should be ready to be worked on.

They currently run a daily 789 from YYC,YVR&YYZ to Cancun. And a 789 from YYC (maybe YVR) to PVR in the winter time. They used to fly them daily to OGG/HNL in the past. No I believe just a few times a week

Is the market (YVR) already served quite heavily already. With AC, Qantas and Air New Zealand already flying to western Canada. Westjet does have its own huge feed that would help it fill the flights. The negative is that you would need 2 Aircraft to fly down there daily.

I would think if WJ purchases more 787’s they would probably add Athens. Like Rome &, Barcelona, Athens has a lot of cruise ship passengers. That’s a big if though. The more 87’s WJ has then they have to find uses for them in the winter months.

One of the best things about U/D and to me why it’s getting built so fast is the lack of community association opposition to everything. Communities like Kensington, Marda Loop, Inglewood and other established communities just flounder in opposition and appeals to every proposal. To me it’s why...
