Having a hit show at the Alex helps.

From the eastbound 504 this morning I saw someone getting ticketed around Peter. That's the first time I've seen enforcement since "the blitz" but it's just anecdotal.

Also not mentioned is that the last two big shows at the POW and Royal Alex closed just before the pilot. None of the restaurants quoted in the Star are west of Peter.

I'll add that while I am cycling I often look in the cars, and over 90% of them are single-occupant vehicles. I am hoping the pilot discourages them from bringing their cars into the core.

I ride along Adelaide every morning around 9.30am to St. Andrew, and take the King car from Yonge to Niagara around 6.30pm. I have not seen more traffic on Adelaide -- It has always been busy, before the pilot, starting at Duncan. My evening commute has been cut by ten minutes. The streetcar...
