Dave Naylor, CFL Insider on TSN, came out Friday and said the sale of the Elks is a done deal. It's NOT a group and it's a long time Eskimos/Elks season seat holder. They've already met with Randy Ambroise. Sounds like it'll be announced mid-August.

If the Katz rumor makes sense... Does the City sell Commenwealth to Katz and he makes it his own to have more outdoor events? And then they build a 30.000-35,000 seat stadium for football and soccer? Grey Cups would be an option for Commenwealth still if Katz owns it. Just spitballin'

Rumor out this morning is the new owner of the Elks is an individual and not a group. Just get this done already so we can move forward.

Yeah, I have no idea who they are. I'm just glad we are moving past how the franchise was run and will now actually have an ownership group with no Board to have to run things through.
