I think branching the western extension is a good idea. Everyone worried about headways being impacted should take a look at Skytrain in Vancouver. Ontario Line will also have platform screen doors so it is even more delay-proof than Skytrain.

Infrastructure Ontario had originally planned the Ontario Line to be a loop where west and east branches meet on a Hwy 407 alignment. I guess we will have to wait to see Metrolinx's full 2051 plan.

I think The James has probably the best detailing on a new facade this city has seen in a long time but this building is certainly up there.

They are moving forward with station construction anyways so I am guessing that the project design has been somewhat updated because of the setback under the 401. I believe the original project staging was that most tunneling would be complete before stations even broke ground (line 5 style)...
