Out of all the designs, this seems the most bland (in terms of public art and colour)...especially at the platform level. Prepare to see a lot of brutalist grey concrete once its complete. The Egg shaped dome is pretty nice but the rest of it is just 'meh". In terms of extending the subway...

So far I am impressed with the designs for these new stations, however what really bothers me is the unfinished concrete walls on the platform level. I hope these stations dont start looking like the stations on the Sheppard line which have those awful unfinished exposed concrete walls...

Beautiful Condo... This will really compliment the existing Loggia Condos (a few blocks west of this site at Islington ) and perhaps encourage more developments of this sort along the Queensway.

Although brutalism in general is not very appealing , I find the monolithic nature of Robarts to be kind of endearing and iconic. The building may look like some sort of jail, but it has its merits. The proposed addition totally clashes with the existing building and looks too busy.

The building itself is kind of a "meh"....Though I do quite like that deep emerald green glass. It'll be a good contrast to the ruby-red scotiabank building.

Yeah I agree. It really is a very bland and manicured site with nothing much to offer. I always thought the two existing buildings were such a waste of space, but I am glad they decided to keep them. One thing I hope they do differently is wrap the proposed podium around those existing buildings...
