This is tangential, but some might be interested in watching this update on construction of the Ismaili Centre Houston. As some have noted previously, the centres do sometimes operate as a network, so the location of other centres do make an impact on programming or other partnership activation...

Any update on this one? Has been quite a while!

With approval of the ceremonial naming of Wynford Drive east of Don Mills approved, and a plan to add street art along that stretch soon to be rolled out, I'm thinking that 5A will be set for ground breaking soon, quite possibly even in September. Anyone have any reliable info on the...

Thanks. So it looks like not all of Wynford has been renamed, just the portion that extends into Crosstown.

I don't think these have gone through city council. Just placeholders for the time being, but if someone has a link to city council docs, that would be much appreciated. The crosstown community graphic just doesn't hold the same weight :)

I'm getting the sense this is in pretty advanced stages and could be shovel ready this construction season. Fair assessment, or was I fed bad info?

Is there any timeline on this project? I'm curious if ground breaking will align with that of the new integrated Ismaili community project on Block 5A of the Crosstown Community redevelopment.

Wondering if there has been any news on what might be planned in the future for this site? ... or is the current land owner sitting on it? Would love to see that parkade beside it gone, to create a larger lot. All but erased ... Screen capture from recent Eglinton-Crosstown construction...

I'm curious about the floorplan for Hall F, because the addition seems to be significantly deeper than Halls D and E. Perhaps there is just more back-of-house space there?

The foothills main tower is under 800,000 square feet, and this is what I was referring to - IE the new cancer centre is much larger even by the sf measure. Foothills hospital data (as opposed to the foothills main tower) includes other buildings such as the special services building and McCaig...

Nice to see the supports removed from under the portion that extends out to the east. Construction will extend approximately 100' up on that cantilevered portion, so a lot more building yet to come. This building, cumulatilvely, will be a lot larger than the foothills hospital main building...
