This is a temporary move due to picketing lines by CUPE 3903 YorkU employees. Brampton Transit operators are unionised and don't cross picket lines. In the previous strike they shifted to Steeles/Founders as well.

Under Metrolinx Wayfinding Standards the line roundels are only used deep inside stations. The T, station name, and mode pictogram are the only things shown outside.

I walked by Finch West Station today. The station name has been installed. The outer facade of the building is quite close to completion.

Line 4 could play this role if its pulled west to Pearson and beyond, and east to Guildwood or Rouge Hill stations.

I take the 501 Züm and then Line 1 to YorkU. I prefer this over taking GO because GO is more expensive and takes longer than the 501+L1 combo.
