It's so special when they pop their cherry. *sigh*

I was thinking the exact same thing. That pic really illustrates the beauty of the towers, and just how awesome the location is. It's like the focal point of a really nice painting or something. What really makes the towers pop and stand out is the bland and boring buildings near them. (at...

I don't really understand the guys post to be honest. He would have known it was that small before he purchased it so he blaming himself?

Damn, wish I had of seen that a while back. I'm think I'm finally over the height thing and still going to be very happy with the building as it's really a gem. Pinnacle One might be the tallest, but this building will win for me as it's a much nicer.

I do agree, but I guess I stayed clear of that since I'm hearing stories that Toronto FC ticket holders can't even give there seats away because that area is such a nightmare right now to get in and out of. Maybe once the transit is done it should be easier so maybe you're right.

Well I think much of this depends on how much Ed thinks he'll make on his ROI. Here's what I do know, the story isn't going away. I believe where there's smoke there's fire, and no matter which area you pick that is downtown, you're going to have these issues. Seeing as this area is not yet...

It's only costly if they don't think they can sell the units right? As bad as the condo market is in Toronto, this is kind of a special case as it's catering to a very specific niche, so I guess it's a matter of if they think that special niche will bite. That's my guess, but I'm probably...

Well we could pick one of those green patches, or perhaps since non of those pink buildings have actually been built yet, maybe one of those spots.

Any my answer was one of the patches of land with no buildings on it. I'm not sure what the argument is here. Is the only way to have a new stadium is if the train drives right into the stadium?? We're literally talking about a 10 minute walk from most of that area, the same distance it takes...

    Toronto Toronto | Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

My guess is the stadium would be somewhat close to the transit hub. It's a 10 minute walk from Union Station to the RC. I'm sure if they indeed decided to put the stadium there, my guess is they would try to keep close to the transit hub as possible. Maybe like a 10 minute walk? So it would...

Well I mean we're talking 7-10 years from now, that whole area is still in the planning stage. You're trying to suggest between now and then there isn't going to be room for changes? Furthermore, I'm not even sure how legit this rumor was, it just made sense to me given the even more challenges...

I honestly don't even know how serious that location is, but I just remember that area being bandied about when talk of a new stadium began. Having said that, it's one of the only few locations that makes practical sense. They're not going to put the stadium uptown at Downsview. They want to...

Not sure if you aware of this, but there's thing called the Ontario line being built, and on that line there is going to be something called East Harbour Transit Hub. That transit hub is going to be immediately east of DVP and south of Eastern Avenue. Right in the heart of the Portlands.

As you mentioned, I think a scenario where they try to demolish the Dome, and build a new stadium close to current site is out of the question. No chance they play out of the city for 4 years. The only way this works is a new stadium being built in a area that is going to be revitalized. The...

    Toronto Toronto | Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

That is always the tricky part, where would Jays play?? But in seems in this context, the idea is no longer demo the stadium and put the new one back in the same spot. The new stadium would be at the Ex grounds or somewhere else. From what I understood a while back, Rogers isn't happy with the...
