To my limited understanding Equiton owns up to the Pony Mart. The remaining parcels have not sold and will remain as-is. Cliffside Urban Design Guidelines call for some kind of Parkland component at that location.

Agreed that balconies can be integrated successfully if done with proper intent: As a local example, 11 Charlotte a block away from this does this well with full-height curtainwall glazing: 88 Scott integrates inset balconies within its uniform precast grid:
