Projects like this are being developed all over. Not everyone is interested in assembling lots and building something mid rise with a mix of uses. It's a lot more complex and expensive.

I like this actually. Although I like high buildings they have their place as do low rise neighbourhoods. This is more of a low rise area and I think it is fitting and to scale for this hood.

I mean sure, you have to build your own......but if you can keep construction costs to $400 a ft2 you're still ahead!

Its not a real proposals, of course.....but why would anyone commission a render so ugly? If its pretend, can't we pretend it could be done well?

I laugh so that I don't cry. It's giving "what if we clad a prison in brick!". which is arguably unfair to prisons as many have better architecture than this. Just absolutely hideous.
