That 50th Street crossing has been dead for far longer than I've been alive. There is already a pedestrian bridge there.

50 st. over the river would create a path between the manning fwy all the way down to the town of beaumont and beyond. currently you have to chose either 75 st.(WG drive) or 17th st/cloverbar bridge for a N-S connection.

My Grandpops used to tell me stories in the 70's and very early 80's - about how the "Capilano Bridge should have been off of 50th and not 75th..."Are all the new forum members time travellers from the 1960s or something?
That 50th Street crossing has been dead for far longer than I've been alive. There is already a pedestrian bridge there.

I remember reading about it and hearing my dad talking, talked about 75th street being sold out, would have been the same on 50th north of 101st...My Grandpops used to tell me stories in the 70's and very early 80's - about how the "Capilano Bridge should have been off of 50th and not 75th..."
