According to a building owner in the neighbourhood this building is coming down and being replaced by a 50 storey plus condo. Anyone confirm?

Yup but it's also small (12 storeys) and I guess developers can't resist. Now that they've finished developing Charles St E they're moving south down to Isabella and Gloucester. Lots of similar mid size buildings there.

As long as they aren't actually demolishing the Village it isn't too bad I guess, but I don't think every street needs to be like Charles.

Hope they position this new building the same as the old. The angle is a nice break up.
