Don't be fooled by statistics. I believe that Vaughan is proposing to extend the already approved urban boundary by 3%. Looking at the actual urban boundary, much of the land within it is still undeveloped farmland. In order to achieve full build out, the extent of developed land will increase by a factor well into the double digits.

It's not backwards thinking, but it's certainly not forward thinking either.

If you're complaining about the architecture, perhaps instead of spending the past 2 years telling Vaughan that VMC could go to hell, you could have instead critiqued the design and give input to the city as to what you think the area should look like. In fact, you could still do that instead of continuing to bitch that VMC is still a stupid idea.

I've given my request to Vaughan to build a simple crosswalk at a busy intersection. That fell to deaf ears, so why would we expect them to listen to suggestion of any other kind?

The quality of interested architects is only a testament to the stupidity of the whole VMC project.
