Paris, France ... Outgoing French President Nicolas Sarkozy waves as he rides down the Champs Elysees towards the Elysee Palace for the last time after being defeated by Francois Hollande.

Rome, Italy ... Models putting on a show on the Spanish Steps.

St Malo, France ... This is where Jacques Cartier sailed from when he led his expeditions to the land he named Canada. He made 3 voyages between 1534 and 1542.

Havana, Cuba ... Time warp!

Monte Carlo, Monaco ... Dense!! And getting denser every year.

Atlas Mountains, Morocco ... Camels and their handlers awaiting tourists to offer rides.

Vatican City ... Motorcyclists in St. Peter's Square waiting to be blessed by Pope Benedict XVI.

Milan, Italy ... Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II completed in 1878 was modeled after the Burlington Arcade in London. Toronto's Eaton Centre was modeled after this Galleria.

Pisa, Italy ... The famous leaning tower playing peek-a-boo behind the Cathedral of Pisa.
