On Saturday May 10 there was water in there. It was not painted blue.

The very handsome Alumni House at U of T. According to wikito, it was built in 1958.

It surprised me to learn that it was built in 1958 when I was a student at U of T. Modernism came to prominence across the globe after WWII, but Toronto has some interesting Georgian Revival buildings from the 1950s like this one. Upper Canada College is probably the most prominent example of 1950s Georgian Revival in Toronto. It was a conservative decade.

A: Hard to believe that pay phones are becoming an extinct species but with the proliferation of cell phone use
this was bound to happen - I noticed that these are newer Bell phone models with LED screens...

I remember well the classic Canadian Northern Telecom pay phones - are any of these still around or did
Bell replace them with these newer models?
