I took the wife and little one to Queenston Mile winery in Niagara today. Good food, a great band and some great vino. I keep forgetting to charge the batteries in the Mini3pro but did take the Nikon P950 with me.

Here are the photos of the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse photos I took from the intersection of Bay and Stuart just south of West Harbour GO Station in Hamilton:

We saw perhaps 1/2 eclipse before the clouds blocked our view. Sitting on Riverdale East hill with thousands of others reminded me of Day of the Triffids, where after most people in the world are blinded by an apparent meteor shower, an aggressive species of plant starts killing people.

I was also near the station, so I could leave quickly on that train -- 3:22pm when I tapped on according to Presto activity record, I think around the time the streetlights went back off.

Here are my shots from just outside Waterford, ON.

Drone half a km above me. I'm that little black car in the middle of nowhere. Far away from all the crowds just how I like it.

Here's the moment of Totality or Full Eclipse or whatever it's called. Lots of stars clearly visible in the sky. Everything went dark so quickly it was spectacular.

And then I looked up and saw this looking back at me.
