I am glad that Hume usually uses his column to beat up on mediocre developments that well deserve it. It must be depressing to be an architecture critic in this city, at times. So much crap going up, so little time to slag them all.
It would be nice if he did a bit more to highlight the truly great developments in this city. An article a week on a great Toronto building, new or old, to remind us of how good things can be if the skill and will are there.
