Those street lights are horrible! I can't believe they'd put them there after all that effort to create a great park. I'm baffled! They need to go.

The park looks great. I'm surprised, unpleasantly, by their lighting choice. A walkway on a signature park project and they chose regular street lights?

Don't worry - the lights are temporary. Still a soft opening, park lights to be installed soon...

Thanks for the pictures. A couple points:

- That office building looks better suited for the 401 & Dixie than the waterfront. Wasted opt there.
- Agreed about the lighting. It should be more humanly scaled and lowered. Something more unique would be nice too.
- That's not a beach. It's a sandbox.
- How are those muskoka chairs not going to be stolen or vandalized? I can just see all the H.P loves K.D Forever on them
- The tree grates don't look large enough to allow sufficient water to enter for proper growth
- Not a good idea locating the Maple Leaf water spouts right next to the "beach". Water + sand = Mud. Not nice.
- But hey, it's better than a parking lot!
