Hummingbirds are aerodynamic, active, constantly in motion and beautiful. The former name of the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (directly north of the condo site) was the Hummingbird Centre.

It's funny how people complain about lame condo names and then when given the chance to name a condo, proceed to suggest names which sound like every other condo on the market. In fact some of them - "Pinnacle" (misspelled) and "Ovation" are already the names of condos.

O'Keefe Tower

O'Keefe Tower:

This name was chosen as a tribute to one of our City's most famous and generous philanthropists, who was largely responsible for the construction of the O'Keefe Centre (Now Sony Centre) next door. I believe the legacy of the O'Keefe Brewing Company should be preserved in this block so that Torontonians will remember the great contribution they made to our great City for generations to come.
