fantastic - they picked the design that I and most others seemed to prefer. This should bring some new life and energy to the neighbourhood. Cant wait to see it become reality!

I've always liked the idea of using hinges to transfer horizontal loads vertically, as famously used at the Galerie de Machines at the 1889 World Exposition in Paris

Damn straight! This will be a great addition and I am completely looking forward to the debut of this technical wizard in Toronto. Not quite the Pompidou, but a bold statement to change nonetheless...

Rogers isn't my favourite "starchitect" but at least we're getting something of international calibre with this project. Another variation of a brick box, or brick barn would've been so depressing.
