I just cant get impressed by this. After West1 and N1 on this side of Spadina, everything else just looks way too contrived and repetetive. The bridge is such a gimmick... now if they really wanted to make a statement with a bridge they could have ran one across Spadina Ave from HVE to West1 !

I have to agree. CityPlace is a missed opportunity so far. It's a sea of grey glass, with no "character" to speak of. I hope it's not too late to save it.

Our expectations were raised by the original rendering showing orange precast panels... only to have them turn out dull and muted brown. This project could have been the cat's meow...

lol I couldn't help but laugh at the ppl sitting on their small patios.
I've seen many of these small patios, esp in new urban townhomes, and I have yet to see one person use it!
