That stretch of Hurontario St. is so wide (10 lanes including a median), it would be rather difficult to create "a sense of place" for the retail & cafes at the podium as that rendering would suggest. As interesting as the architecture of the towers are, the "true" success of the project would be how the relationship of the podium and streetscape interact with the rest of the surroundings.
