Less the case with Audi. But people revving Porsche engines all day while test driving their new cars will definitely be an annoyance for the office park.

On the flip side, it may bring a lot more small business owners into the area so it could potentially drive some office occupancy through exposure.

Pretty funny rebuttal from York Centre Councillor James Pasternak indeed. Although, as stated in the article, the highest and best use would probably be an office building, I really don't see an Audi and Porsche dealership (these are high end vehicles after all) as a negative influence on this currently stagnant business park. If anything, I'd say most people wouldn't have even known about this business park until the development of this new dealership.

This is a Teeple project. It will be a perfectly suitable and nice addition to the area.

This project is the "Audi Midtown Toronto Dealership", 175 Yorkland Boulevard. It is a relocation of the current Audi Midtown Toronto dealership at 3450 Sheppard Ave E. It is Teeple Architects project as p5connex said, being constructed by Eastern Construction, concrete formwork by Avenue Building Corp.

The north west side consists of a corkscrew style ramp that provides access to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th suspended floors, access to the 5th and 6th suspended is via a straight ramp on the middle south side.

this place is almost dead smack in the centre of Toronto, in all 4 directions. Maybe just a little bit further east of centre.

The mid-point of Toronto is in Sunnybrook Park, so this is to the northeast of that, but's it's still amidst the town, so big deal if Midtown Audi is at 404 and the 401.

I'm pretty sure though this one is building tall so that it can be seen from the highways.

We're looking at a 6 storey building. That's certainly an advantage, but it's too much money to spend on something that could be accomplished with a sign or marketing.
