I just came across this proposed conversion of a historic apartment block (former firehall) into a boutique hotel and restaurant/retail/solarium space. This certainly would fill a gap missing since the bed and breakfast was torn down on 124 Street.

What a nice project. Kinda in the middle of nowhere currently but if goes ahead will stand on it's own to preserve this heritage asset. Love unique projects like this.

This looks great. Balfour Manor is one of my favourite heritage buildings in the city. I was worried when I saw it for sale a little while back
