All the cranes on site makes it look pretty cool.

Latest gag. Not bad, I like the corny sense of humour.

No sign of the boom? Look a block north on the side of the Bay.

(Bow, will that gag lose everything once the Bay's current Boom! event's over)

So there is a second crane being installed? If so, I'm sure there should be pictures showing this anytime now :p Perhaps I can see it on the cam. *Goes off to look*

Sept 15-07 It's A live and next the level be pour next week. Pouring concrete floor at the base today as well tearing down the rest of the old retaining wall to the south.

Slooooowly those building in the background will be lost from this view for the next 100 years.

Let the stacking begin. I'm not very enamoured by this building from a design pov, but it will be cool to see the skyline extending northwards with a decent sized tower.

They are self-rising forms, if you look at the base they are mounted the core with hydraulic rails.

One question, how do they raise the crane currently on site?

The way they do that with cranes is pretty amazing. I still don't get how they get the crane DOWN though.
