wow... looks very theme park 'ish. not my favorite.
too bad about the vandalism though... i'm guessing that when it actually opens and foot traffic increases it won't happen.

Looks like a petty afterthought.
The dagger/bottle shapes of the colored glass look craft like and not relating to anything else. The triangular speckled pattern is too 80's for my taste.
If it were rectangular slivers of colored glass (or actual faceted crystals) that related to the module of the stone cladding it would be much nicer and more sophisticated in appearance.

The crystals add a rare bit of eccentricity to our local architecture, though I would have preferred something more sophisticated in appearance, too.

Does anyone like them? I certainly don't. There are probably a dozen better ways to incorporate crystals than this.
