Wait, I fw that HEAVY! And then they should also let people climb it or something. It would be like the Bean in Chicago.(It would be pretty cool if they moved the Talus Dome to Beaver Hills House Park, admittedly.)

Right? The only thing really wrong with it is its location. It would be a good centrepiece to an actual park somewhere walkable... like Beaver Hills House Park.Wait, I fw that HEAVY! And then they should also let people climb it or something. It would be like the Bean in Chicago.
A lot of the public art here is either modest or not that impressive. I'm not sure why that is the case, but I suspect it may have to do with budgets and money. We should more look to places like Chicago for good examples.Right? The only thing really wrong with it is its location. Correct for the 105th st sidewalk. Just irked by the lack of progress despite the good weather. Six weeks of progress this fall meant it could have opened six weeks earlier next summer.Looks like the site sidewalks are inside the construction fence so not accessible by the public.
Called into 311 today as none of the sidewalks on the perimeter (including MPP on 104st) have been shovelled. Assuming the contractor is responsible, but it irks me to no end that prominent sites like this are not cleared.
No response as of yet.
It's because they don't care about your petty complaint, Ian. How dare you waste their time with this nonsense.
