The play equipment here has a nice consistency in look and theme to O'day-min Park's playground which is another good reason to have the two areas connected through that alley between 105-106st as has been mentioned.
The sign with Cree syllabics is also nice. Notice the birds on the polls are from the mural on the retaining wall that was taken down.

I absolutely love this park -- bird sculpture, kiddies play ground, dry-stacked stone wall, undulating surface, hardscape, landscape, and... most especially the very modern restroom structure -- excellent design!
Edmonton does get nice things!
