my main complaint is that Festival Tower is so exceedingly dull and boring. while some of the individual buildings may have merit (or not) together they just look like such a mish mash of nonsense (maybe its the neon colours of the rendering?) that we are getting at the expense of some historical blocks. I think the east side (St Lawrence Market area) has done a much better job of adding new development while maintaining the character of the neighbourhood. This new stuff in the Entertainment District just looks like a free for all...

^Free-for-al eh? Perhaps it's more in context than at first appears to be so. The Entertainment District's been quite the free-for-all for some time now.
