It's actually quite surprising that given the recognition of the Big Carrot brand they didn't expanded earlier.

Was hoping they'd go to the Annex or Queen West or something like that. Or maybe even Summerhill/Rosedale.

The Big Carrot is not Whole Foods or Pusateri's. It's a worker co-op. I'm not surprised to see them stick relatively close to home, and I'm also not surprised to see them open their second location somewhere where they can get decent rent and with fewer competitors nearby (Kingston and Main), versus much, much costlier and cutthroat locales like Summerhill/Rosedale, Queen West or the Annex.

Big Carrot is one of the best. Love that they are expanding
