less than 45 storeys? ... someone needs a reality check.

I don't mind the office tower as the glass on 18 York is really good but the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. (unless it's stainless instead of aluminum)

To add to the dismay, that top rendering is perhaps the WORST rendering I have seen in a long time. Isn't a rendering supposed to be a selling tool? All three towers were rendered in different shades of sky. I guess the subtext is the building is so banal it blends seamlessly into an overcast, Toronto horizon.

While I applaud any new office/hotel development, my concern is that there's going to be a real glut of office space and hotel rooms in the very near future. With the economy slated to slow further, who's going to fill all this space? Building these towers on spec is rather risky imo.
