Dovercourt has the park across but its not the same. Back in the late 60s early 70s the city closed the road between the 2 schools and created a large park. But Brentwood has always been a bit better, They have add new buildings as well.
I am not sure what you are saying. Directly south of Brentwood, across the street, is a huge green space.
 
It seems they are serious about their plan..Some units on the West side are already vacant. But the 17 yrs total development timeline for the project is a bit of a stretch.. to live for that many years at a construction site.. oh boy. Interesting what's the average total lease period per person in those complexes.
