After the roof is on the podium the cranes come down then change the location of the cranes that would sit on the roof slab for the Towers.
That way the retail will be open during the rest of the construction.

Would be the same time we want the first crane up as soon as possible to be able to use it to pour concrete.
The plan is to have 3 cranes up for the parkade and podium.
With a least 2 placing booms.

So a crane by early December.:cool: (fingers crossed of course)

If most of this one goes up this year (2017), I'm guessing it could be done around the same time as the library? Q4, 2018.

All I can think about these massive full-block underground parking structures that are common is how much time and money would be saved if they reduced the amount of parking available. Not to mention risk-reduction by having your development completed sooner.

Any estimates on what is the construction cost / time required for each level of parking they go down for a project like this?
