I want a Cineplex with attached Rec Room and apartments over by the new arena. It is the entertainment district after all.

Theatres take a lot of space that would be more profitable as other businesses. That's my guess anyway.

It's the best place to get hammered, its also the best place to blow $250 in an hour. They're opening similar ones in Springbank and Heritage point. Cineplex has a substantial stake in Top Golf so it's entirely possible we could see one here eventually.

@niteryder bonus shot of the University District is how main streets should be designed. Wide sidewalks and businesses placed within walking distance from residential dwellings to support a car independent lifestyle. When it comes to community safety, businesses can look after residential dwellings during working hours and vice versa in the evening. Behind these streets R1 zoning could be utilized. This is how cities should be built.
