Anybody have an idea of when the glass will be fixed and the fencing on 7th Ave and 1st Street can come down?

LOL at the 'Organic Health Bar'. I honestly had to look about three times to figure out it was a photo and not a rendering of a placeholder retail unit.

The place is called Jusu, as can be seen in the 2nd photo. But yeah, the advertising is a lil brutal.

Brookfield is one of the nicest parts of the +15 right now, always open and sunny. Standing in the sun at the Deville coffee is a bit much though, you get really hot really fast!

I hope the city is charging a hefty fee for the closed sidewalks and road lanes!

Damn better be. Same with 500 Block. I find it outrageous that a whole block of sidewalk in our most walkable neighbourhood is to be shut down for years.

Great pics UrbanWarrior! I swear if i was a little more tired or not paying enough attention, i could've mistaken some of those as renders.

Especially with the "Organic Health Bar" sign lmfao

500 Block will have to close a lane of traffic to re-route the cycle lane and will likely use a covered walkway similar to what Park Point is doing. I hope they keep the sidewalk on 4th open as well, that's a very busy pedestrian street as it connects the Beltline to the core!

As I said, they have closed the sidewalk (on Fourth). They kept the sidewalk and cycle lane open on 12th with a covered walkway. Not sure at all why they couldn't do it on Fourth too.

They are probably doing their loading off 4th like Telus Sky is doing off Centre Street, it sucks but has to happen sometimes. Just hope they city is charging a lot for the inconvenience.
