Empty Calgary office building transformed into rental apartments in first-of-its-kind project

I know you didn't write the headline or article, but sheesh. "First-of-its-kind".
First office turned into residential in the history of the world? First in the modern world? First in Canada? First in Calgary?

It's not even the first office-to-rental in this specific community in this decade.

I never noticed that either. I was looking at the second pic trying to figured out how it was photoshopped. The white trim doesn't suck.

I like how the coloured panels disguise the wall caps, great solution. Don't mind the white either, adds a bit more pop.

Yeah, I lived super close to both buildings for about 7 years and never noticed lol. I guess it just shows how boring and generic both are...

Was pessimistic at first, but very pleased with how this is turning out. Its crazy how simply protruding the colored squares makes such a difference to give it that textured quality, so glad Strategic didn't cut corners from the rendering and make it flat spandrel ? .

Love it! This is a reclad done well! I wonder if they would ever consider converting this buildings twin on the other side of the block into residential.
