Very nervous about tonight, the Flames playoff gremlins are very much alive and well! What the Flames need to do is absolutely steamroll Dallas tonight, shake Oettenger's confidence and get some back for our offense.

We don't need to steamroll Dallas. What we need is a solid 60 minutes and more traffic in front of the net. Oettinger's making too many easy saves and the Flames need to keep leads when they have them.

Every game so far the rebounds have been there, Ottenger is a young goalie and the pucks come off him like crazy, Sutter shuffled the lines hopefully to drum up that net front presence.

The rebounds are there, but the Dallas D keep the Flames forwards out of there long enough to clear it away. Flames need to find a way to pull the D out of position so they can get more chances from in the slot.

They managed that last game and that's how the lindholm goal came about, need more of it. We were great at doing it during the season with the amount of cycling we did in the opponent's zone.

Much better tonight, Oettinger was amazing but the Flames smothered him in shots. Stone had 8 in his first game tonight!

The Flames have outplayed the Stars the entire series but haven't got the results. The Stars have no business winning this series. It is time to put them away

Oettinger has been incredible this series and is the key reason it has been so tight, shots have significantly favoured the flames but they just can't get anything by him.

It's been frustrating to watch the Flames outplay the Stars, only to have the series tied 2-2. This might be good for the Flames though, especially if they make it to the next round and have more space to move around.
One thing the Stars have been good at it is clogging up the area in front of their net. Rebounds are getting swallowed up, cross passes aren't making it through, and their goaltending has been great.... basically stifling, yet the Flames still have a couple of wins. The defensive play of the Flames has been key. In many other series they would be up 3-1 or would have taken it by now.
