So black vinyl trim along the edges, as the rendering shows. I’m anxious to see if they stick with the other material in the rendering, or if it gets VE’d down do some sort of beige vinyl siding or something.

If I'm not mistaken someone else took over this project from RNDSQR.We have a right to be skeptical given the cheapness of development we sometimes see, but to put on the exterior mesh, they need to finish this vinyl first. I like to think RNDSQR wouldn't cheap out on that feature.
We'll call it 'faux vinyl' for now - aluminum panels meant to look like vinylIt's not vinyl, it's aluminum. Vinyl is not allowed on buildings 6 floors and up.
"Vinyl Village" would be an appropriate nickname for Calgary, replacing the outdated moniker "Sandstone City".I'm curious to see if we get the exterior mesh shown on the rendering or if this will become one of the many vinyl villages we have throughout the city. It looks like the anchors for the mesh are there, so here's hoping.
Sad but true."Vinyl Village" would be an appropriate nickname for Calgary, replacing the outdated moniker "Sandstone City".
Is it grey or beige? I can't really tell. Whichever it is, I hate both those colors and wish we would see much less of them on buildings in Calgary.Ugh why grey.. It's giving me ptsd from working and living in the modular trailer camps near fort mac :/
