Doesn't look like much opposition from the CA, it's mostly small details they're concerned about. I'm guessing this will get approved without much fuss.

HSCA Planning Committee has turned a corner. They know the city will approve these projects, so they appear to be working on the wins they can get with the project.

I almost hope not... it's such a terrible design for such a premier location. I really wish the City of Calgary had baked in some design standards when they sold the property.

I’m okay with the deign, maybe I even like it. But I bet the cladding with be cheap and terrible, which will make me sad.

I passed by here this afternoon and the backhoe bucket loader is in a different spot and there were some new piles of dirt.

I don’t know if a lift would be tied to a construction start, but it’s newly arrived since last week.

I really hope this is getting built, I’d love to see that gap disappear.
The design might not be to everybody’s liking, but the most important part is the first two or three floors facing 10 Street and they’re fine in my opinion.

If they did, at least the action is happening on the correct parcel of land, and not a block over. Gives me hope!

It could be better, but most people won’t even notice. They’ll mainly notice the ground level, and it’s decent enough.
