Warm white would be my choice for lighting color. It never goes out of style, and has that elegant look to it. Personally, I think the bright color led's are a fad.

That's the good thing with LED's...you can follow whatever color is de rigueur.

Speaking to an architect who's been inside, they mention that the Library is quite insular and inward facing.

Looks like only every second light is on.
Part of the dark feel may be the gray of the concrete. Paint that concrete white, and it would give the interior a brighter feel. I'm looking forward to seeing more pics of the atrium area.
