Agreed, this one was very well thought out! Hopefully local architects are taking notice as they have a tendency to just slap things together here.

Imagine when Platform is built... it will really give a sense of "completeness" to the 3 Street SE corridor. The first fully built up corridor of the EV?

I am also anxious to see the proposed changes to City Hall along 3 SE too, it's currently very... devoid.

It's sooo good but it's sooo sad that it's not a high speed rail station and mostly just a lowly parkade.

Well, I mean, the high speed rail station was proposed for like 200 meters east of the eastern end of this building, on the other side of the 4th Street SE underpass, so that's a bit of a non sequitur.

Oh I know. Just the design of this, IMO, if you didn't know anything about it, reads retro futuristic high speed rail station. Then they title it platform on top of that.

Suppose we do eventually get a rail station 200m east, I can envision some confused tourists.

Well, it could be in the future. HSR will probably come in on a viaduct as corridor space at grade is slowly being taken up.

That last picture is spectacular.

Standing on the deck of a boat. Looking through the haze over icy blue waters. Ice beginning to fracture.

Or maybe it's a library.
